How they are built
The surface is finished with oil rather than lacquer, as on our tables. The oak keeps its natural feel, and a scratch is repaired locally — sand the spot and re-oil it.
The timber comes from responsibly managed forests and carries FSC® certification, so we can document the origin of every batch.
Which sizes are available?
The Montis sideboard is built in 160, 180 and 200 cm lengths, 50 cm deep and 50 cm high.
How heavy is it?
From 60 kg at 160 cm to 68 kg at 200 cm. Plan for two people to carry and place it.
Do you build other sizes?
These are the standard sizes. If you need a different one, send us the room measurements and the door and shelf layout you want, and we will check what we can build and quote it.
How is it cared for?
A damp cloth with a mild, alcohol-free cleaner is enough. Once or twice a year, re-oil the surface with furniture oil.
