How they are built
The surface is finished with oil rather than lacquer, as on our tables. The oak keeps its natural feel, and a scratch is repaired locally — sand the spot and re-oil it.
The timber comes from responsibly managed forests and carries FSC® certification, so we can document the origin of every batch.
What size is the cabinet?
The Montis cabinet is 90 cm wide, 180 cm tall and 45 cm deep.
How heavy is it?
Around 100 kg. Plan for two people to carry and place it.
Do you build other sizes?
This is the standard size. If you need a different one, send us the room measurements and the shelf and door layout you want, and we will check what we can build and quote it.
How is it cared for?
A damp cloth with a mild, alcohol-free cleaner is enough. Once or twice a year, re-oil the surface with furniture oil.
